As the situation around COVID-19 continues to quickly evolve, we wanted to provide an update on the measures we continue to take an order to protect the health and well-being of our customers and employees, while still meeting the needs of our customers during this difficult time.
Each and every construction trade that performs maintenance and repair work has a myriad of services they provide; roofing is no exception. While the government has made it perfectly clear that roofing maintenance and repairs is considered an essential service, re-roofing has emerged as a gray area.
Peachey Contracting will remain OPEN for business with some exceptions! We will be providing Emergency 24/7 Service(s) while the Ontario provincial government restrictions are in effect.
What does this mean?
Peachey Contracting can only deem services essential if there is a health and safety risk to the occupants of that building.
For example, if your roof is approaching it’s ‘End of Life’ and there is NO interior damage present, we CANNOT deem your project essential, but we can provide Emergency Service and repair any damages until the provincial restrictions have been lifted! (We will provide an update on Jan 22/2021.)
PLEASE NOTE: Peachey Contracting will reimburse our clients any repair cost, should choose to use our services and complete the roof replacement once the provincial restrictions have been lifted.
In the coming month, Peachey Contracting will be implementing a COVID-19 Policy, which will outline how we plan on keeping our clients and employees safe while respecting the provincial government restrictions.
Peachey Contracting has already started to implement the following to help limit spread of COVID-19:
· Providing its employees with training and PPE to ensure their safety.
· Client Online Accounts to view Quotes, Invoices, Contracts, Warranties that may apply to your products, and much more!
· Digital Signature(s) – All Contracts & Warranties will be digitally signed for the client to print, sign and return (copies can be provided to clients who cannot print the documents).
We already use the latest technology alongside aerial satellite imagery, which allows us to provide accurate Quotes and limits the person-to-person exposure.
